A college student is raped on campus, and is forced to reckon with an institution that failed her and a community that abandoned her. She invites you into her home, and, in conversation with three historical female figures—Iphigenia , Joan of Arc, and Shakespeare’s Ophelia—she ponders the nature of martyrdom, sacrifice, and infinity.

BURN is a multidisciplinary solo show with aerial acrobatics, poetry, and science that explores our relationship to narrative, isolation, history, and how we authentically process trauma.
